Recently, Nokia is in highlight in news section due to N-series. Nokia has recently launched N96 as a TV mobile which comment and reviews came positively by the reviewers. Still the mobile has been launched for UK and US people. Nokia N96 came in the market with 16GB memory in market along with built-in 3D sound and a 2.8in screen. It is known as entertainment mobile due to digital TV tuner.

Simon Ainslie who is the managing director at Nokia UK said, “The Nokia N96 is going to provide a gateway to quality viewing on the move. The enormous success of iPlayer has demonstrated the desire audiences have for accessing programmes at a time and a place that suits them,” the statement was published in news.bbc.co.uk.

In the series of touch-screen but not in N-series Nokia has launched 5800 Xpressmusic mobile for the users of touchscreen handsets but it was not succeeded like other touchscreen – Blackberry Storm or iPhone however 5800 Xpressmusic was in the competition of iPhone and Google mobile.

In this process Nokia tried to promote N96 in the market as a general phone but higher class family. Of course, Nokia N96 is running very successfully in UK ans US market. In the UK it is in second position in the selling after iPhone. But in the US it has great position also however it is not in 2nd position like UK.

Lastly, Nokia decided to cover some mobile phone market globally that is why it acquire Symbian OS and along with it announced to launch Nokia N97 till next year of April. No doubt, N97 is the most reviewed phone after iPhone till now.

For next year Nokia N97 is in the competition along with Blackberry storm to iPhone because Blackberry going to open an Applications Stores and Nokia will launch N97 on Symbian OS. All these contradiction will lead Nokia as touch-screen with N-series in which N97 will be on top till next year in telecom industry.
