Nokia C5 New Smartphone

Nokia C5 is quite different from current smartphone trends. It is a candybar-shaped gadget with a numerical keypad. Nokia C5 comes with 2.2-inch 320 x 240 pixel QVGA display that supports 16 million colors. It is light-weighted mobile phone of Nokia C series.

Symbian S60 is the OS of the Nokia C5 mobile phone. You can surf the Web using HSPA also on the phone. 3.5mm headphone jack and inbuilt stereo FM radio are the biggest attractive features of Nokia C-5. The phone comes with 1050Mah battery that offers 12 hrs of talk time and 26 hrs of standby.

Bluetooth, secondary camera for video calls, 5-way Navi key and two soft keys are the other included features of Nokia C5 mobile. The phone has 3.2-megapixel camera with auto focus and LED flash. It has 50MB of onboard memory and it can include a 2GB microSD card. The phone support cards also that can store up to 16GB.

Nokia C5 will available in Europe, Asia, the Middle East and Africa in the coming months.

The phone has the biggest social networking features also. You can integrate with Facebook and MySpace on this phone. Nokia C5 has a very new feature in its phone book. You can see your friends’ status updates directly from Facebook in your phone book.

Google Talk or Windows Live Messenger is also available in this phone. Nokia C5 supports E-mail services – Ovi Mail, Microsoft’s Windows Live Hotmail and Google’s Gmail.

Nokia will launch C5 in two colours – white and warm grey. It is being said that Nokia will introduce its C series – C5 smartphone on cheapest price. It would be available on Rs. 9000 approximately ($183).

I think Nokia C5 phone will hit the Indian market very emphatically because the price of the phone is very low. There is another attraction point – it is a smartphone and a new series of Nokia. It is another development of Nokia after Nokia E72 in mobile phone market.
